General Statement - Thomas Parker Williams
This site is arranged by category - paintings, works on paper etc. - and then by series starting with the most recent work first. Where applicable I have added links to related works.
My primary body of work is painting. However, I also produce artist books, unique book works, and prints.
Most of my work is organized by series based on a central concept. These series are quite different from each other in subject as well as media.
I have included notebook pages and preliminary drawings for many works to illustrate the conceptual working process.
Music informs my work as well and I have used my own original
music as a source for my paintings and several artist book editions that include music CD's.
I also collaborate with other musicians to produce commercial CD releases.
